Meet my friend Darbie Angell!

I have a friend to tell you about. Her name is Darbie. We haven't met in real life yet, but because of this crazy social media platform, we've chatted on a few occasions.

I know what you're thinking "Cool, Marnie, are you just here to brag?" But no! I'm here to tell you about her story a little (and encourage you to learn more) and then I'm gonna show off my favorite pieces from her line.

Darbie started her company without a single contact in the industry. She says "I was working at one of the largest law firms in the country and went into labor with my daughter when I was five months pregnant. I was put on bed rest for four months and decided I wanted to start a company by combining my passion to impact the world with my knowledge in design. I wanted to show my soon-to-be daughter how to dare to dream big! That bold step to live fully is what led me to create this company, which has since become my life’s work."

With zero capital to put towards the brand, she found a man in Israel that sold her diamonds at cost. She then turned around and sold them to women around the world. Darbie says "This venture allowed me to create my first product samples and attend my first meetings in New York with Macy’s. We are blessed to now be in retailers such as Macy’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Dillard’s, as well as smaller home stores and boutiques."

Now that you're all inspired and stuff, here are my favorites:

You've seen this a time or two before! It's a favorite of mine. So dainty and pretty.

This one says "MOVE OVER WINTER, I'M SPRING AND I'M COMING FOR YA!" And guys, I'm here for it. I'm ready for spring and summer, and this is just what I need to get in the spirit (oh, and it could stop SNOWING HERE IN THE PNW!).

This color is a favorite of mine (can't you tell by my website colors?!) and if you're in the market for a new dinner set, this is simple and really beautiful!

Which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
